Mx Johns and Mrs Perry welcome you to year 4, 4J!
We are looking forward to both having lots of fun, but also working really hard this year. We will be developing our academic side alongside our emotional literacy and building on our regulation strategies.
We have a great number of exciting and fascinating topics and educational visits which will provide you with a wide range of learning opportunities, as well as develop your skills, knowledge and understanding.
Throughout the year, the children will be learning about the USA and Native Americans, Saxons and Vikings and finally the Norman conquest of Britain. They will also explore the water cycle and track a river from source to mouth.
We are looking forward to our visits to the think tank to explore electricity, a Viking visitor who will run an in school workshop, and a visit to a river to investigate the Water cycle and see the freshwater creatures living in our waterways.
