A very warm welcome to all our Year 2 children and families!
We hope you have had a wonderful summer and are ready for an exciting year ahead. We are so pleased to welcome the children back and are looking forward to seeing them grow, learn and flourish throughout the year.
We have lots of exciting topics planned, with plenty of opportunities for the children to explore, investigate and develop their knowledge and skills. We are also really looking forward to our school trips and special experiences, which will help bring our learning to life!
Please make sure that your child has the correct school uniform, including the appropriate shoes and PE kit. All items of clothing should be clearly labelled, as this makes it much easier to return lost belongings to their owners.
If you need to contact us, please use Class Dojo. We will do our best to respond as soon as we can and keep you updated with important information throughout the year.
Reading regularly is incredibly important in Year 2. Please encourage your child to read at least 3 times each week. Remember to record your child's reading on Boom Reader so that we can celebrate their progress and encourage them to become confident, enthusiastic readers.
We are very excited about the year ahead and can't wait to see what our wonderful Year 2 children achieve!
