approaching Christmas fast to here’s the information you need to know…
to Mr Panter and his wife whose twins arrived safely last Friday. A boy and a
girl, 5lb 13oz and 5lb 6oz! We are now looking forward to finding out about
the next baby due, Mrs Williams goes onto maternity leave from the 5th
December. We are also pleased to welcome Ms Robinson back after her maternity
government have raised the threshold for court action. From January 2015 they
expect all children’s attendance to be at least 90%. To ensure no one gets
caught out I will be send out information for those children whose attendance
is below 94% from January. Attendance is currently 95.79%
Snack Money Snack costs £1.50 a week. Please
try to bring it in each week. Any profit goes straight into school fund to
pay for events like Christmas parties.

Collecting Children Please do not send under 16 year olds to
collect your children, I won’t release them to the care of anyone who is not
16 or over. We also ask that ex pupils don’t come into school at the end of
the day without asking so that we know who is in the building.
Community Hub News
Thanks to parents who have come into school to be part of
the Glebefields Community Group. We want to hear what you like and how you
would improve school life. We are also grateful for your help in school.
Thanks to the reader volunteers for coming in regularly to help children who
are struggling with their reading.

We put together
a new football team for a friendly against Oakham Primary. The team learnt a
lot but did lose 7-1. Better luck next time guys!

Siblings can be collected after the performance on
Friday 12th from the classroom doors on the playground.
Christmas Week Events
Dec – Christmas dinner and parties.
Children can wear party clothes. Please remember to book a Christmas dinner
if you would like your child to have one.
Dec – Church service. Please be
aware that we know have over 400 pupils so there will be very little room for
parents in the church. The children can be collected once they have returned
Friday 19th December
Last day of term. The children come into school as
normal. They can bring in a toy but no guns or anything that will cause tears
if it gets lost or broken. Children
can be collected from 1:30. The school will remain until 3:30pm open for those
parents who cannot collect their child early.
